Jumlah pendonor remaja Kota Madiun dalam jangka waktu 3 tahun mengalami ketidakpastian dan naik turunnya jumlah pendonor. Menurut (Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Madiun 2022) jumlah penduduk remaja Kota Madiun berjumlah 14.626, sedangkan jumlah pendonor remajanya hanya 1.507 maka persentasenya hanya diangka 0,1%. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini untuk melihat faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan rendahnya jumlah pendonor remaja di wilayah PMI Kota Madiun dengan mengidentifikasi minat dan faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya pendonor remaja di wilayah PMI Kota Madiun. Metode penelitian ini dengan cara survei menggunakan kuesioner google form. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja Kota Madiun yang berusia 17-24 tahun dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dengan rumus slovin dan jumlah sampel akhir 100 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari remaja Kota Madiun menggunakan google form berupa data minat dan faktor penyebab rendahnya jumlah pendonor remaja di Kota Madiun, serta terdapat karakteristik responden yaitu usia dan jenis kelamin. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian ini adalah remaja Kota Madiun memiliki minat tinggi sebanyak 46%. Sedangkan faktor penyebab rendahnya jumlah pendonor remaja di Kota Madiun paling tinggi adalah takut jarum suntik sebanyak 41%. Saran yang diberikan adalah meningkatkan sosialisasi, rekrutmen, mengadakan program donor darah, memperluas informasi, dan membuat strategi untuk meningkatkan donor darah khususnya usia remaja.

The number of teenage donors in Madiun City over a period of 3 years has experienced uncertainty and the number of donors has fluctuated. According to (Madiun City Central Statistics Agency 2022) the number of Madiun City's teenage population is 14,626, while the number of teenage donors is only 1,507, so the percentage is only 0.1%. Therefore, this research is to see what factors cause the low number of teenage donors in the PMI Madiun City area by identifying the interests and factors that cause the low number of teenage donors in the PMI Madiun City area. This research method is by survey using a Google Form questionnaire. The population in this study were Madiun City teenagers aged 17-24 years using a purposive sampling technique using the Slovin formula and a final sample size of 100 respondents. Data collection was carried out using primary data obtained directly from Madiun City teenagers using a Google form in the form of interest data and factors causing the low number of teenage donors in Madiun City, as well as respondent characteristics, namely age and gender. The analysis in this research uses a Likert scale and percentage formula. The results of this research are that Madiun City teenagers have a high interest of 46%. Meanwhile, the highest factor causing the low number of teenage donors in Madiun City is fear of needles at 41%. The suggestions given are to increase outreach, recruitment, hold blood donation programs, expand information, and create strategies to increase blood donors, especially teenagers.
