Usia toddler (1-3 tahun) merupakan masa golden age, namun rentan terjadi gangguan tumbuh kembang. Oleh karena itu deteksi dini tumbuh kembang di posyandu oleh kader dan stimulasi tumbuh kembang oleh keluarga pada fase ini sangat penting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peran kader dalam pelaksanaan Deteksi Dini Tumbuh Kembang dengan stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak balita oleh keluarga. Desain penelitian analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional, penelitian melibatkan sampel sejumlah 68 yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner peran kader dalam pelaksanaan deteksi dini tumbuh kembang menurut perspektif responden dan kuesioner stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak balita usia 2-3 tahun oleh keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran kader dalam deteksi dini pertumbuhan mayoritas dalam kategori baik, sedangkan dalam deteksi dini perkembangan mayoritas dalam kategori cukup, adapun stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak balita oleh keluarga mayoritas dalam kategori baik. Hasil analisis membuktikan ada hubungan signifikan peran kader dalam deteksi pertumbuhan dengan stimulasi pertumbuhan anak balita oleh keluarga yang bersifat cukup (p-value 0,001; r hitung 0,401) dan perkembangan yang bersifat lemah (p-value 0,001; r hitung 0,395). Kesimpulannya, semakin meningkat peran kader, maka akan meningkatkan stimulasi keluarga terhadap tumbuh kembang anak balita. Peneliti menyarankan kader dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan perannya dalam pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak, sehingga dapat mengoptimalisasikan keluarga untuk memberikan stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak balita. Toddler (1-3 years) is a golden age, however this period is susceptible to growth and development distuburn. Therefore, early detection of growth and development in the posyandu by health volunteer and stimulation of growth and development by families in this phase are very important. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of health volunteer in the implementation of Early Detection of Growth and Development with stimulation of the growth and development of toddlers by the family. Design of this study is analytic correlation with a cross-sectional approach, this study involved a sample of 68 taken by the total sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire on the role of health volunteer in carrying out early detection of growth and development according to the respondent's perspective and a questionnaire on the stimulation of the growth and development of children aged 2-3 years by the family. The results showed that the role of health volunteer in early detection of the growth the majority was in the good category, and in early detection of the development the majority was in the sufficient category, whereas stimulation of the growth and development of toddlers by families the majority in the good category. The results of the analysis prove that there is a relationship between the role of health volunteer in growth detection and stimulation of the growth of toddlers by families who are moderate in nature (p-value 0.001; r count 0.401), and there is a relationship between the role of health volunteer of the development of toddlers by families who are weak (p-value 0.001; r count 0.395). In conclusion, the increasing role of health volunteer will increase family stimulation for the growth and development of toddlers. Researcher suggests that health volunteer can optimize their role in monitoring the growth and development of children, in order to the family stimulate the growth and development of toddlers optimally.
