Latar Belakang: Stres kerja sering dikaitkan dengan penyebab menurunnya profesionalisme perawat dalam pelaksanaan dokumentasi keperawatan. Perawat pelaksana pada Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUD Kabupaten Jombang jika mengalami stres kerja dikhawatirkan mengalami penurunan profesionalisme dalam pelaksanaan dokumentasi keperawatan pra operatif sehingga berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan di rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan tingkat stress kerja perawat dengan pelaksanaan dokumentasi keperawatan pra operatif berbasis electronic documentation di Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUD Jombang. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah 33 perawat pelaksana di Instalasi Bedah Sentral dipilih dengan teknik Accidental Sampling. Variabel independen adalah tingkat stres kerja diukur dengan lembar kuesioner DASS 42 dan variabel dependen adalah pelaksanaan dokumentasi keperawatan pra operatif berbasis electronic documentation diukur dengan lembar observasi. Hasil dan Analisis: Diketahui tingkat stres normal sebanyak 22 responden (66,7 %) dan pelaksanaan dokumentasi keperawatan pra operatif berbasis electronic documentation mayoritas dalam kategori baik sebanyak 17 responden (51,5 %). Hasil uji Spearman adalah P value 0,015 ≤ 0,05 artinya terdapat hubungan antara stres kerja dengan pelaksanaan dokumentasi keperawatan pra operatif berbasis electronic documentation, arah hubungan dari r hitung -0,421* yaitu negatif, artinya semakin rendah tingkat stres semakin baik pula pelaksanaan dokumentasi. Diskusi dan Kesimpulan: Stres kerja yang dialami perawat berkaitan dengan faktor-faktor penyebab stress, seperti usia, jenis kelamin, dan masa kerja perawat. Stres saat bekerja mempengaruhi kinerja khusnya pada pengisian dokumentasi keperawatan pra operatif berbasis electronic documentation. Background: Work stress is often associated with the cause of decreased professionalism of nurses in the implementation of nursing documentation. The implementing nurse at the Central Surgical Installation of Jombang District Hospital if experiencing work stress is feared to experience a decrease in professionalism in the implementation of preoperative nursing documentation so that it has an impact on the quality of service at the hospital. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of nurses' work stress with the implementation of electronic documentation-based preoperative nursing documentation at the Central Surgical Installation of RSUD Jombang. Methods: The research method used is cross-sectional. The study sample was 33 implementing nurses in the Central Surgical Installation selected by the Accidental Sampling technique. The independent variable is the level of work stress measured by DASS 42 questionnaire sheet and the dependent variable is the implementation of Preoperative nursing documentation based on electronic documentation is measured by observation sheets. Results and Analysis: It is known that the normal stress level was 22 respondents (66.7%) and the implementation of preoperative nursing documentation based on electronic documentation was the majority in the good category as many as 17 respondents (51.5%). The results of the Spearman test are P value 0.015 ≤ 0.05 meaning that there is a relationship between work stress and the implementation of preoperative nursing documentation based on electronic documentation, the direction of the relationship from r calculate -0.421* which is negative means that the lower the stress level the better the implementation of documentation. Discussion and Conclusion: Work stress experienced by nurses is related to stress factors, such as age, gender, and length of service of nurses. Stress at work affects his special performance in filling out preoperative nursing documentation based on electronic documentation.
