Kandungan gizi dalam ASI tidak cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi bayi seiring bertambahnya usia, sehingga membutuhkan makanan pendamping ASI. MP-ASI yang diberikan secara tidak tepat baik berdasarkan usia, frekuensi, jumlah, dan konsistensi mengakibatkan status gizi kurang pada anak. Pengetahuan yang tepat tentang MP-ASI sangat diperlukan demi menghindari adanya MP-ASI dini maupun keterlambatan MP-ASI. Mother’s Guide Book merupakan aplikasi smartphone berisi tentang materi ketepatan pemberian MP-ASI dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu bayi 0-6 bulan dalam mempersiapkan pemberian MP-ASI. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi Mother’s Guide Book terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu bayi tentang ketepatan pemberian MP-ASI di Desa Saptorenggo, Kecamatan Pakis. Desain penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebesar 49 responden yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Instrument penelitian menggunakan kuesioner, melalui penelitian didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dari 53,1% responden dalam kriteria cukup pada pretest menjadi 79,6% responden dalam kriteria baik pada posttest, hasil dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Test dan didapatkan hasil p-value = 0,000 (p-value < 0,05), menunjukkan ada pengaruh bermakna aplikasi Mother’s Guide Book terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu bayi tentang ketepatan pemberian MPASI. Aplikasi Mother’s Guide Book dapat dipertimbangkan untuk digunakan sebagai media informasi kesehatan khususnya pemberian MP-ASI.

The nutritional content in breast milk is not sufficient to meet the nutritional needs of infants as they age, so they need complementary foods. MP-ASI that is given inappropriately based on age, frequency, amount, and consistency of administration affects the poor nutritional status of babies. Knowledge of MP-ASI is very necessary to avoid early MP-ASI and late MP-ASI. The Mother’s Guide Book is a smartphone application that contains material about the appropriateness of complementary foods for breastfeeding and is expected to increase the knowledge of mother’s babies 0-6 months to prepare MP-ASI. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Mother’s Guide Book on increasing the knowledge of mother’s babies about the accuracy of giving MP-ASI in Saptorenggo Village, Pakis District. Pre-experimental research design with one group pretest-posttest. This study used a sample of 49 respondents who were selected by simple random sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire, through the study it was found that there was an increase in knowledge from 53,1% respondents in sufficient criteria in the pretest to 79,6% of respondents in good criteria in the posttest, the results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test, and the results obtained p-value = 0.000 (p-value <0.05), indicating that there is a significant effect of the application of the Mother’s Guide Book on increasing the knowledge of mother’s babies about the accuracy of giving complementary feeding. The application of the Mother’s Guide Book can be considered to be used as health information, especially the provision of complementary feeding.
