Abstraksi
Kejadian hipotermia mengalami peningkatan 60%-90% periode post operasi. Hal
ini mengakibatkan peningkatan iskemia miokard, penurunan tekanan darah,
penurunan metabolisme otak hingga penurunan kesadaran.
Dengan menggunakan keyword (Active Warming OR Forced Air Warming OR
Force Air Device OR Warmed Intravenous Fluids) AND (Post Operative
Hypothermia OR Perioperative Hypothermia) AND (Adult Patients). Kemudian
hipotermia post operasi dibandingkan cairan intravena hangat.
Abstract (English)
The incidence of hypothermia has increased by 60% -90% in the postoperative
period. This results in an increase in myocardial ischemia, a decrease in blood
pressure, a decrease in brain metabolism and a decrease in consciousness. Until
now the method to overcome these problems is the use of active warming
techniques. FAW and warm intravenous fluids are examples of active warming
techniques. Many studies discuss the effect, but there are no studies that discuss
the difference in effectiveness. This study aims to determine the effect of active
warming intervention on the incidence of postoperative hypothermia.
This study was conducted using the literature review method. The articles
reviewed were obtained from three databases ;ScienceDirect, Pubmed and
GoogleSchoolar. By using the keyword (Active Warming OR Forced Air Warming
OR Force Air Device OR Warmed Intravenous Fluids) AND (Post Operative
Hypothermia OR Perioperative Hypothermia) AND (Adult Patients). Then, 10
articles were selected using JBI Critical Appraisal tools and taking into account
the PICOS framework.
The final result of the literature search and selection found 10 articles that
matched the inclusion criteria. A total of five articles with FAW intervention
showed an effect with a p value <0.05. While in the article of warm intravenous
fluids, only four articles had a significant effect.
The FAW intervention was more effective in influencing the incidence of
postoperative hypothermia than warm intravenous fluids. This is because FAW
works by transferring heat and preventing body heat loss. So that the body
temperature balance more quickly achieved.
