Masa nifas merupakan proses kembalinya organ reproduksi setelah Berdasarkan hasil survey Riskesdas, AKI pada tahun 2013 masih mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan tahun 2012 yaitu sebesar 359/100.000 KH, sedangkan menurut SUPAS tahun 2015 AKI Indonesia 305/100.000 KH dengan penyumbang AKI terbesar adalah perdarahan. Hasil survey Riskesdas tahun 2015 pelaksanaan IMD di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yaitu mencapai 34,5% pada tahun 2013. Adanya peningkatan pelaksanaan IMD seharusnya dapat membantu mengurangi AKI yang disebabkan perdarahan masa nifas. Proses isapan bayi pada payudara ibu saat IMD diduga dapat merangsang pengeluaran hormon oksitosin yang dapat mempengaruhi proses involusi uterus sehingga terjadi penurunan TFU. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan keberhasilan IMD dengan penurunan TFU pada masa nifas Desain penelitian menggunakan Analitik Korelasional dengan pendekatan prospective study. Populasi seluruh ibu bersalin pada 21 Mei- 21 Juni 2019 di PMB Sri Sulami, A.Md.Keb dan PMB I G Ayu Karningsih, S.Tr.Keb sebanyak 20 responden. Besar sampel sebanyak 20 responden diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi IMD dan penurunan TFU. Analisa data menggunakan Uji Fisher Exact dengan α 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan 80% responden berhasil melaksanakan IMD dan responden yang mengalami penurunan TFU normal sebanyak 80%. Hasil analisis didapatkan nilai p (0,013) < α (0,05) artinya pada penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan keberhasilan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) dengan penurunan Tinggi Fundus Uteri (TFU) pada masa nifas di PMB Sri Sulami, A.Md.Keb dan PMB I G Ayu Karningsih, S.Tr.Keb wilayah Kota Malang. The process of sucking the baby in the mother's breast when IMD is thought to stimulate the release of the hormone oxytocin which can af ect the process of uterine involution resulting in a decrease in TFU. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the success of IMD and the decrease in puerperal TFU in the study design using analytical correlational with a prospective study approach. The population of all mothers gave birth on 21 May to 21 June 2019 in PMB Sri Sulami, A.Md.Keb and PMB I G Ayu Karningsih, S.Tr. Keb as many as 20 respondents. The sample size of 20 respondents was taken by total sampling technique. The instruments used were the IMD observation sheet and decreased TFU. Data analysis using Fisher Exact Test with α 0.05. Based on the results of the study, 80% of respondents managed to implement the IMD and respondents who experienced a decrease in normal TFU as much as 80%. The results of the analysis obtained a value of p (0.013) <α (0.05) meaning that in this study there was a relationship between the success of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) and the decrease in Fundus Uteri High (TFU) during the postpartum period in PMB Sri Sulami, A.Md.Keb and PMB IG Ayu Karningsih, S.Tr.Keb, Malang City.
