Pembimbing Pendamping: Dr. Jenny JS Sondakh, S.Si.T., M.Clin.Mid. Masa nifas merupakan masa peralihan yang secara alami dilalui oleh seorang ibu pascamelahirkan. Pada masa transisi ini, adanya luka perineum menjadi salah satu predisposisi terjadinya komplikasi pada masa nifas, jika dalam perawatannya dilakukan secara tidak tepat Untuk menciptakan perilaku atau kebiasaan yang tepat dalam melakukan perawatan luka perineum, maka diperlukan pengetahuan dan sikap yang baik untuk membentuk perilaku tersebut. Salah satu upaya preventif tenaga kesehatan dalam perubahan sikap dan mencegah komplikasi masa nifas ialah dengan adanya edukasi. Edukasi dapat memberikan pengetahuan baru yang diharapkan mampu merubah sikap ibu nifas ke arah yang positif mengenai perawatan luka perineum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan sikap ibu nifas terhadap perawatan luka perineum sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi tentang perawatan luka perineum. Desain penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan one group prapost test design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah ibu nifas dengan luka jahitan perineum sejumlah 28 ibu nifas dengan teknik pengambilan data total sampling maka sampel yang digunakan sejumlah 28 ibu nifas yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala likert terdiri atas 25 pernyataan. Melalui uji hipotesis wilcoxon signed rank test dengan ρ value (0,00) < α (0,05), maka H0 ditolak, artinya terdapat perubahan yang bermakna sikap ibu nifas terhadap perawatan luka perineum sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi tentang perawatan luka perineum. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan didapatkan sikap ibu nifas tentang perawatan luka perineum setelah diberikan edukasi seluruhnya bersikap positif sehingga diharapkan ibu nifas dengan luka perineum dapat menjaga dan merawat kesehatan dirinya khususnya bagian luka perineum secara tepat dan benar. Puerperal period is a period of transition that is naturally passed by a postpartum mother. In this transition period, the wounds of the perineum is one of the predispositions for complications during childbirth, if the treatment is done incorrectly. To create a behavior or habit that is appropriate in wound care perineum, the necessary knowledge and attitudes to shape the behavior. One of the preventive efforts of health workers in changing attitudes and prevent complications during childbirth is with their education. Education can provide new knowledge that is expected to change the attitude of postpartum mothers positive direction concerning treatment of perineal wound. The purpose of this study was to determine the change in attitude of puerperal women against perineal wound care before and after given education about perineal wound care. Pre-experimental research design with the design of one group pre-post test design. The population of this research were postpartum mothers with perineal suture wounds totaling 28 postpartum mothers with total sampling data collection techniques, the samples used were 28 postpartum mothers who met the inclusion criteria. The research instrument using a Likert scale consists of 25 statements. Through hypothesis testing with the Wilcoxon signed rank test ρvalue (0.00) < α (0.05), then H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a significant change in the attitude of puerperal women against perineal wound care before and after a given education about perineal wound care. the research, it was found that postpartum mothers' attitude about the treatment of perineal wounds after being given education was entirely positive so that it was expected that postpartum mothers with perineal wounds could maintain and care for their health, especially the perineal part of the wound properly and correctly.
