ABSTRAK Hima Rahmawati, 2018. “Penggunaan Buku Praktis Kodefikasi Diagnosis Penyakit Dikaitkan dengan Kecepatan dan Ketepatan Kodefikasi di Puskesmas Gribig Kota Malang” D-III Perekan Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan. (Dibawah bimbingan Diniyah Kholidah, SST., S.Gz., MPH). Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh petugas rekam medis yaitu mampu melakukan klasifikasi dan kodefikasi penyakit masalah-masalah yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan dan tindakan medis. Kegiatan klasifikasi dan kodefikasi di Puskesmas Gribig dilakukan oleh dokter dan perawat yang tidak berpedoman pada ICD-10, tetapi berpedoman pada lembaran-lembaran kodefikasi yang dibuat oleh Puskesmas tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecepatan dan ketepatan kodefikasi diagnosis penyakit sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan buku praktis kodefikasi diagnosis penyakit di Puskesmas Gribig Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest, dengan membandingkan hasil observasi sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan buku praktis kodefikasi diagnosis penyakit. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, ICD-10, stopwatch, dan kalkulator. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 70 dokumen rekam medis pasien dengan diagnosis penyakit. Dari hasil uji statistik menggunakan Paired Samples T-Test dan Chi Square didapatkan nilai Sig. kurang dari 0,05 yaitu 0,00 sehingga Ho ditolak dan dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kecepatan dan ketepatan kode diagnosis antara sebelum dan sesudah implementasi buku praktis kodefikasi diagnosis penyakit. Oleh karena itu, buku praktis kodefikasi dapat dijadikan alternatif bantuan dalam melakukan kodefikasi diagnosis penyakit di Puskesmas Gribig Kota Malang. Kata kunci : Buku Praktis, Kodefikasi

(Under the guidance of Diniyah Kholidah, SST., S.Gz., MPH.) One of the competencies that must be owned by the medical recorder is able to classify and codify the problem of diseases. The problems are related to the health and medical action. Classification and codefication activities at Gribig public health service Malang City are performed by doctors and nurses who are not guided on ICD-10, but they are guided by the sheet of codefication which is made by it. This research has purpose to know the speed and accuracy of codefication diagnosis of diseases before and after using the practical book of diseases codes at Gribig public health service Malang City. This research use pre-experimental One Group Pretest-Postest method, with compare the result of observation before and after using the practical book of codefication diagnosis of illness, the instruments in this research is observation sheet, ICD-10, stopwatch, and calculator. The number of sample is 70 documents of patient medical record with diagnosis of diseases. From the result of statistical test using Paired Samples T-Test and Chi Square that are has result Sig. less than 0,05 is 0,00 so H0 are rejected and can be conclude that there are increasing of speed and accuracy diagnosis of diseases. Therefore the practical book of codefication can be use become alternative help on the carry out the codefication diagnosis of diseases at Gribig public health service Malang City.
