ABSTRACT Kurnia Dewi, Kadek (2013) Levels of Energy Consumption and Macro Nutrient With Nutritional Status and Serum Albumin Based Upper Arm on Wound Healing Diabetes Mellitus Gangrene in Clinic Griya Bromo Malang. Rinawati Basuki., Kes). The prevalence of non-communicable diseases is increasing every year and Diabetes Mellitus is one of them. Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease that is expressed in the presence of chronic hyperglycemia and disturbances in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins.According to the WHO in 2011 the number of people with diabetes Perkeni in Indonesia has increased from 8.4 million in 2000 to 21.3 million in 2013.One of the complications of diabetes mellitus is diabetes mellitus gangrene. Diabetic wound care not only of medical but also of diet therapy. Therefore nutritional support has a very important role in wound healing. This study examines the relationship between energy consumption, macro nutrients and nutritional status based on upper arm circumference and serum albumin in wound healing. The observational study was designed and conducted on February until March 2013 in Malang Bromo Griya Clinic. There are 5 subjects (2 men and 3 women). Most subjects were> 45 years (100%), renal disease with complications (40%), views of nutritional status of the samples showed overweight (40%), obesity (20%), normal (20%), malnutrition (20%). Intake energi average 73,81%, average 91.32% protein intake, fat intake on average 79.7%, averaging 74.9% of carbohydrate intake. The score of wound is changed from 10.8 to 5.8 . Suggestion to nutritionist in Clinic Griya Malang should consider giving extra albumin or materials containing albumin sources such as egg whites, fish, and dairy because albumin is very important in the process of wound healing Keywords : Energy and Makronutrients Intake, nutrition status, and wound healing
